Flint and Steel Vol.09 Magazine Launch

Join us on Wednesday 7 December from 6pm at Pocket Bar in Grey Lynn. Platters of food will be freely available and the bar will be open for you to purchase drinks.

At 6:45pm you'll have the chance to hear a bit more about the heart behind the magazine, followed by a conversation and Q+A with one of the contributors to this year's magazine, Josie Pagani. She'll be discussing her article where she writes about the origins of ‘home’, belonging, the politics of home and how this idea itself may or may not be just “a place in our imagination”.

AUTHOR:

Josie Pagani has worked in aid, politics, trade and media. She has been the Executive Director of the Council for International Development (CID) for the last six years. She is a regular media commentator on current and international affairs on New Zealand TV, radio and print. Josie has a weekly column in the Dominion Post and Stuff and is a Today FM commentator and host. She has been a political advisor to governments, Prime Ministers and ministers.
