Flight Night & Book Signing Combo Event
Drinks, Doodles, and Music featuring Anthony Carson

Join us for a night of drinks, doodles, and music at this combination event Flight Night & book signing with local artist Anthony Carson!
The flights feature four drinks for $15, each inspired by a doodle from his new book Can I Change the World with a Doodle?, a compilation of 44 therapeutic drawings drawn and curated by the artist, himself.
Copies of the book are available and Anthony will be there to sign and doodle on the spot with other local doodlers including Vital Vortex (Alex Kelly) and Onewayness (Adam Holquist). Anthony will also be performing a set of songs to set the vibe with instrumental, ambient, and folk. Come for the signing, stay for the drinks, doodles, and music!

Anthony's first great dream as a little boy was to grow up to be a cartoonist. He didn’t know what it meant or how it would look, but he stated his claim, and got to drawing. It wasn’t until 2016 that Anthony, now 27, took to the streets of New Mexico at markets and events to make personalized, unique, on-the-spot drawings for passersby.
Today, he submits his “Fridge Comics” monthly to the local Erie Reader magazine, teaches illustration, animation, and music production at the Inner City Neighborhood Arthouse After School Arts Program, has had his multimedia artworks featured in numerous galleries and cafes, and just published his first art book Can I Change the World With A Doodle.
In Anthony's words: "Can I Change the World With A Doodle is a collection of illustrations drawn between 2023-2024. They are images crafted during various degrees of personal spiritual conflict and evolution. I chose to bring them into a book as an experiment, one that you can ascertain by the books title. Making the images changed me in some way, certainly, even if for only a moment, so could they do the same for others?"
