It’s taken us a while to find the perfect venue - but Flight Feathers is back!
This series of events is going to bigger and better than ever! Over the next year we have the whole of St. Andrews Mews to play with and have big plans!
The first event will be at Bizarre But True - and will be our first ever free non-ticketed event, only asking for donations only from those who can afford them. We will be introducing a very talented troop of Hastings of spoken word artists - as well as having an open mic.
Come early to sign up - original work only.
The event will run at 7pm on Saturday the 7th of December. There is a bar and a bullet catching stunt - so under 18s are welcome - but must be accompanied by an adult!
We are working with Mothlight Press and this will be the first of 7 events in the run up to the release of the Poet Town anthology - which is the first comprehensive collection of poets new and old from the Hastings area. Each event (monthly) will feature poets from the collection as well as providing a platform for any poets wanting to share their work.
As always the ethos will be one of inclusion and mutual respect. The sheer diversity of the poets in the Hastings area is breathtaking. This is a chance for birds of every plumage to come together and share what they love!
