FLEX : Mental Health First Aider Training
About this Event
FLEX are thrilled to share their partnership with We Work Well to offer the chance to gain your OFQUAL regulated Mental Health First Aider Training qualifcation.
This course equips you to provide Mental Health First Aid as a first line response, including how and when to point someone towards further help.
The 6-hour course covers :
- A parallel qualification to First Aider for Physical Health qualification
- Trains staff to be qualified First Aiders for Mental Health
- Learn how to identify when an employee is struggling
- Learn how to provide support
- Prevent self-harm
A short assessment will conclude the day - you'll then recieve a manual to keep and refer to whenever you need.
The cost of this course is £120. If you are a FLEX member, this will be subsidised by us, and available for £85. Please ensure you are a FLEX member if booking the discounted rate.
