The Opelika Police Department is hosting a Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Basic Tactical Medical Instructor Training Program (BTMITP) on October 21st-23rd, 2024, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This comprehensive program will equip you with the skills and knowledge to handle medical emergencies in high-stress tactical environments. Upon completion, graduates will be qualified to teach essential tactical medical skills to others. This training is open to state, local, and tribal first responders. Federal agencies can participate for a fee of $295.
Prerequisites:
U.S. citizen
Sworn law enforcement officer with arrest powers
Authorized to attend training by your employer
