About this Event
FLAVIA is an award winning singer-songwriter-producer. She won the Pop category of the Independent Music Awards, the Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriting competition, and was a finalist in the Great American Song Contest. She also pens for other artists in varying different genres and styles. Flavia’s debut EP, Out Loud, landed #16 on the iTunes Alternative Charts, and she has been celebrated by Billboard, Flaunt, Ladygunn, Earmilk, Grimy Goods, WFNM, FTM Magazine, The Rodeo, Awesomeness TV and many others. Billboard called Flavia “a musical force destined for greatness”.
FLAVIA grew up in Ireland, Italy, and has lived in just about every corner of the US before landing in LA. She now splits her time between LA and Paris. There is a tangible strength in her music, an unapologetic curiosity about life, love and sexuality. Layered over fluid and powerful beats that make you dance hips first, eyes closed, middle finger up, smile on your face.
“When I create music, it’s really important for me to make art that positively impacts people. All my songs have a profound message or cause behind them bottled into a fun, relatable pop song." FLAVIA’s music has dealt with anti-bullying and mental health issues, and she is a big advocate for LGBTQ+ rights. Her live show is a high energy sonic and visual experience. She commands an audience with her thundering spirit and powerful stage presence.
Cami Petyn’s music is a direct extension of herself. “My music to me is turning pain into power,” explains Cami. “It’s how I connect to the world around me.” Connection is a fundamental part of Petyn’s presence, as she is known for her enthusiastic fanbase and genuine lyrics. Valuing transparency and innovation, Cami brings depth and authenticity to her music, using her lyrics to touch on topics that matter deeply to her: mental health, self-acceptance, and growth.
L’FREAQ always knew she’d be a musician. Classically trained as a vocalist at four years old, she eventually picked up the guitar and found her love for contemporary music through artists like Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and David Bowie. In a world with so many variables, music has been constant For L’FREAQ.
Her newest EP "Showgirl" is all about finding strength through the hardships of our lives. Having struggled through her own battles with self-love, bullying, and broken relationships L’FREAQ hopes these songs can provide listeners a safe space to fully feel themselves and begin the healing process.
Combining everything from pop to post punk, folk to trip hop, L’FREAQ is letting go as she evolves, unapologetically, in her own wildly unique self.
