Join us for ladies styling workshop at 11:45am - 13:45pm£15 for the workshop.
Then we have our Flava Tea Dance also with Jen Eddy [ pay on the door for the freestyle]
Trying to add a bit more style to your dancing but not sure where to start? This workshop is designed to help you feel more confident in how you move and express yourself on the floor.
Jen will guide you through some of the key elements that can really lift your dancing, from posture and footwork to shaping your lines and using your body more effectively. We’ll also look at those moments where you’re not quite sure what to do, including the ever-confusing spare arm, and explore a few styling ideas to help everything feel more natural, with the option of adding in body rolls too.
With a background in a variety of dance styles, Jen brings a mix of ideas you can take away and try in your own dancing, whatever your level.
Freestyle: 14:00pm - 18:00pm
You are more than welcome to bring lunch/snacks to have before Flava to re-fuel you ready for an afternoon of dancing.
Jen will then keep you on the floor with music at a slower pace, perfect for a chilled afternoon. We will provide sweet and savoury treats, homemade cakes, and hot drinks (please bring a mug with you to save on disposable cups). Bring a homemade cake/savouries with you and get your next Ceroc South Wales class free!
Our Flava Tea dances are held in Nash Village Hall, Newport. This venue has free parking on site, a beautiful floor, with plenty of seating around the dance floor.
