About this Event
Laugh Local - Discover the Gems of Prospect Lefferts Garden with Tickets to the First Ever Flatbush Comedy Festival | June 17th–20th, 2026
Ready to laugh where culture meets community? The Flatbush Comedy Festival, a hyper-local rooted celebration of comedy, creativity, and Flatbush. Taking place over four consecutive evenings from June 17th–20th, this one-of-a-kind festival is locally grown and produced, showcasing the rich cultural tapestry and entrepreneurial spirit of one of New York City's most vibrant neighborhoods.
Each evening is hosted in a different small business, with performances thoughtfully tailored to reflect the vibe, values, and services of each space:
June 17th – Record City: A vinyl shop that sets the stage for a night of musical punchlines and nostalgia-laced sets! This was the opening venue for last year's festival, so it's only right!
June 18th – YUME: A playful Art Gallery that recently opened up on Flatbush Ave! This is a versital space that has been welcoming to the local artist community.
June 19th – Classic Cups: Good vibes, friendly staff, and tasty bites all while playing old school classics. A coffee shop "in the cut that" you wish knew about sooner!
June 20th – Tyson 2.0 Lounge Brooklyn: Mike Tyson's first location in the USA! We're bringing the heat with comedy heavyweights seen on HBO, Netflix, and Comedy Central are stepping into the ring—and we mean that literally.
The Flatbush Comedy Festival is more than just a show—it’s a movement rooted in local collaboration and cultural authenticity.
This festival is an evolving cultural cornerstone, spotlighting diverse voices, accessible entertainment, and the untapped potential of Flatbush Avenue as a rising comedy corridor. Whether you’re a longtime local or a curious visitor, the Flatbush Comedy Festival offers intimate, curated performances that celebrate community resilience, humor, and creativity—all at an affordable price, right in your neighborhood.
