EVENT POSTPONED.Our 2025 Flamingo Festival has been postponed as a precaution as cases of avian influenza (HPAI) have been detected in Florida. A future date may be announced once the risk of exposure is low.
We will continue to monitor the threat of avian flu in Florida. We appreciate your understanding as we work to keep all our resident animals safe.
Our birds are on limited exhibit, with many temporarily moved indoors as a precaution. Sunken Gardens' animal care staff will be overseeing unscheduled times for birds to be on exhibit and monitoring wild birds near our collection. Birds will return to their outdoor habitats as soon as the risk of exposure is low.

Flamingo Festival is free with Gardens admission or membership. (NOTE: To expedite the admission process for all guests, we will not be processing new memberships during this event).
