In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the basics of flameworking while creating your own glass marbles. With guidance from instructor Phil Hackman, you’ll explore the process of melting and shaping molten glass at the torch, experimenting with a fun range of colors, patterns, and design techniques to make each marble uniquely yours.
No prior experience is necessary — this class is welcoming to complete beginners, and those with some experience at the torch will find it a rewarding addition to their practice.
All materials are included in tuition. The workshop is open to students aged 13 and up; those under 18 are encouraged to attend with a parent or guardian. The flameworking studio is kept at a comfortable temperature throughout the session.
