Learn from the ground up. Flamenco is a fun way to challenge yourself and learn something new that will reward you in ways that might surprise you.

Wear form fitting exercise clothes in dark colors and hard soled shoes and bring a bottle of water.

Julia Alcántara has been bringing the best of Flamenco to North Texas since 1998. She graduated from UNM in Albuquerque, the heart of flamenco in the US, where she studied Art, Art History, Flamenco History, choreography, improvisation, singing, and classical Spanish dance. She performed Bolero with the Irving Symphony in their “Dallas Treasures” concert. She has produced 15 Flamenco Festivals, toured 90 cities in the US and was the 1st American Flamenco Company to be invited to perform in Malaga, Spain.
