Join Mashkiki Studios for Flamekeepers: An Indigenous Hand-Dipped Candle Experience at Indigenous Roots Cultural Center. In this cozy, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the traditional art of dipping beeswax taper candles while exploring Ojibwe plant knowledge.
Layer by layer, you’ll create a beautiful set of four 7-inch herbal candles, finished with healing plants such as sage, sweetgrass, cedar, rose, lavender, bearberry, or marigold. Along the way, you’ll hear teachings about how these plants have been used for wellness, connection, and ceremony.
