🥍 Flagstaff Astros Season Kickoff: September 3!
Youth lacrosse is officially coming to Flagstaff, and we’re kicking off the inaugural Flagstaff Astros fall season on Thursday, September 3!
Join Northern Arizona Youth Lacrosse at Foxglenn Park for our first official practice of the season. Whether your child joined us at our recent Flagstaff clinic or is brand new to lacrosse, we’d love to welcome them to the field.

The Flagstaff Astros program is designed for beginner and intermediate players, with an emphasis on learning the fundamentals, building confidence, developing athletic skills, and—most importantly—having fun.
Players will be grouped by age, with elementary school and middle/high school teams. Teams will initially be co-ed as we continue growing youth lacrosse in Flagstaff and throughout Northern Arizona.
What to Expect This Fall
Our players will learn and develop skills including:
🥍 Passing and catching
🥍 Cradling and stick control
🥍 Ground balls and shooting
🥍 Offensive and defensive fundamentals
🥍 Teamwork and game play
Practices will continue through late October every Thursday from 4:30–6:00 PM at Foxglenn Park, and our Astros will also have opportunities to play friendly games against other Northern Arizona Youth Lacrosse teams from Prescott and the Verde Valley.
**No previous lacrosse experience is required.** If your child is curious about lacrosse and ready to try something new, this is a great place to start.
