Flagler County 4-H Summer Day Camps 2023

Day Camps provide your child with the chance to develop character, gain valuable life skills, make new friends, and discover new interests. Camps are open to Flagler County 4-H members and non-members on a first come, first served basis. Registration will remain open until all available camp spots are filled. Registration fee must be paid in full at the time of registration.

All youth must meet age requirements of each camp. 4-H ages are determined by the participant's age as of September 1, 2022.

FLAGLER 4-H 2023 SUMMER DAY CAMPS OFFERED:

Seaside Explorers Camp

June 13-15 (9AM-3PM) | Ages 8-10 | $60

Come join us to learn about the marine and coastal ecosystems in Flagler County! From mangroves to turtles to microscopic plankton, we will discover the marine life in our estuaries and beaches and learn ways that we can help protect the environment we love. Some highlights you can look forward to include: exploring the intertidal zone at the River to Sea Preserve in search of invertebrates like mussels and anemones, using a plankton net to collect zooplankton then examine them under a microscope, and learning about sharks, dolphins, and turtles during a trip to Marineland.

Sewing Adventures Camp (Beginner)

July 10-12 (9AM-12PM) | Ages: 8-18 | $30

In this camp, we will discover the tools, materials, and techniques used in sewing. Campers will get hands-on experience, working with experts to create a range of fun and practical projects.

Quilting Adventures Camp (Advanced)

July 17-19 (9AM-12PM) | Ages: 10-18 | $30

Take your sewing skills to the next level - campers will have the opportunity to tackle more complex projects and learn the art of quilting. In order to participate in this camp, youth must have attended a past 4-H Sewing Summer Camp or must be a member of the Sewing and Crafts 4-H Club.

Food, Fun, & Fitness Camp

July 24-26 (9AM-2PM) | Ages 8-13 | $40

Join us for a fun and educational culinary adventure! Our camp offers a hands-on experience where campers will get to explore different cooking techniques, create healthy and delicious recipes, and learn about the importance of staying active through engaging physical activities. Each day, our expert instructors will guide campers through hands-on cooking lessons that will ignite their passion for culinary arts and inspire healthy living. Come join us for an unforgettable journey filled with new friendships, tasty meals, and endless fun!
