Flagler Avenue Chowder Challenge

Come down to the Flagler Avenue Chowder Challenge in New Smyrna Beach on Sunday, January 26th, 2025, from 1 – 5 pm. Passports are $20, and participants will be able to stroll the avenue eating tasty samples of many styles of chowders at host locations along Flagler Avenue. During the event, tasters can vote for their favorite Chowder creations and the winning hosts will receive the “Best at the Beach” awards.

Like other food challenges along Flagler Avenue, the Chowder Challenge patrons use their tasting passports to visit each of the host sites and taste samples of Chowder prepared in multiple different ways. Participants who order in advance can pick-up their spoons and tasting passports at the Welcome Porch located at the Intersection of S. Cooper Street & Flagler Avenue.

Limited Tickets will be available day of the event, CASH ONLY, starting at 12:30pm at the Cooper Street & Flagler Avenue Intersection. We strongly suggest pre-ordering your passport in advance as WE WILL SELL OUT!

Parking is plentiful throughout the Flagler Avenue, arts-entertainment-shopping district.
