?? Celebrate Flag Day and Philadelphia’s historic tradition of flag-making during the 16th Annual Flag Fest at the Betsy Ross House! This week-long event will highlight flag makers past and present and invites guests to try their hand as flag makers!?? Start each day of Flag Fest starts at 10 a.m. with an interactive flag raising featuring special guests.
Learn how flags are made during Meet the Flag Makers, Monday – Friday, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., and meet Once Upon A Nation History Makers portraying 18th-century Philadelphia flag makers Margaret Manny, Ann King, and Cornelia Bridges.
Curators Cart events will showcase significant and rarely-seen items from the museum collection Monday – Friday, 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Admission is free each day for the first 100 visitors, courtesy of a Friend of the Betsy Ross House. Free admission is for walk-up guests only and does not apply to groups.
