We’re super excited to welcome for the first time to Fizz’s stage: Lakeside Pride Jazz Orchestra! Lakeside Pride Jazz Orchestra (LPJO) is a roaring 20-piece big band (that’s right! 20-piece!), dazzling audiences with contemporary and classic jazz interpreted through the lens of the LGBTQ experience. The band engages and entertains, vividly illuminating music composed by people of color, women and LGBTQ artists to amplify and celebrate these marginalized voices. LPJO and its constellation of chamber ensembles are featured performers at the Aragon Ballroom, Adler Planetarium, Chicago History Museum, and in support of non-profit organizations.

• Beginner-friendly lesson 8-9 pm. No Partner required!
? Beyond the Basics with Sam Zorich and Brennan Bowman 3-week series starts today as well. Check out their event page soon for details and to register ahead of time.
• Lakeside Pride Jazz Orchestra will play from 9 pm until 11:30 pm + DJed music at band breaks
• DCC is BYO, so bring whatever beverages you’d like!
• $15 general/$10 students, includes beginner-friendly lesson.
