FIX HER Activation
About this Event
Our production “FIX HER” tells the story of two women entangled in an obsessive relationship. It touches on themes of generational trauma, knowledge of self, and grief and longing.
These themes will be explored through movement, poetry, music and visuals in an experimental theatrical production in the round. This is a project of passion that is brought together by friends who are pulling from their individual talents to uplift each other and tell a unique story.
The genre:
This is sapphic horror, and will be premiering, in time for Halloween!! Expect creepy elements, dark themes and join us in the bizarre world where FIX HER takes place.
Activation event:
July 3rd @ 7:30pm @Tranzac club
We will be showcasing the original music created for this production by Molly Diamant, as well as visuals and poetry by Camille Moonbeam. Our choreographer, Janaki Banting will demonstrate some of the movement research we have built out.
We are looking to connect with our audience and share our excitement for this project, and hope you want to join us along on this journey!
At this event we will be raising funds to put our show on a stage in October 2026.
Our workshop in Oct 2026:
This will be a workshop style performance is phase one of our project FIX HER, and an opportunity for us to show our concept in a way that is currently accessible to us. Our next goal is to have FIX HER staged in a theatre with all of the theatrical elements we have designed.
MB projects is a theatrical and arts company that was founded by Auly and Camille Moonbeam and the values of the company are to uplift as many artists as possible, protect workers rights and tell unique stories.
