Take part in the 18th and early 19th centuries in an extremely personal and hands-on way! Smell the wood-fire, hear spitted meat sizzle as it smokes. Watch tinsmiths, blacksmiths, and artisans work their trades in front of your eyes. Hear a Revolutionary War cannon being fired. Have a question about a school wood project? Ask a wood-turner as they are working on their next creation! Wonder how to bake a pie in the 1805? Ask a culinary expert as they roll out dough in an outdoor "kitchen". This is an environment where learning is paramount and no question should go without asking. Speak with a flint-napper, a hide tanner, a soap-maker or a French soldier. Want to know how the poor lived in 1776, come and find out! There will be professional historical interpreters from all walks of life ready to share with you. Visiting public of all ages on the weekend of Saturday May 3rd 9:00-5:00, and Sunday May 4th from 10:00-4:00. Five Medals is where you come to experience history!
