Good evening, everyone!I'm pleased to announce that this year's Five Belt Bootcamp is officially a Kingdom of the Nine Blades event, held at Ashburnham Park next to the Peterborough Museum and Archives, the same site we used for the Battlegame Boot Camp 2024 (the first year we ran Flux)!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Details:
If you're looking to learn skills associated with one of the five paths to Knighthood from our Kingdom's Knights, this is the event for you!
This year, we're running basic and advanced classes at the same time, and also actively devoting time so that players can benefit from open coaching time over the course of both days!
On top of that, we expect to run both a Kingdom Dragonmaster and Kingdom Archery and WTNB (aka Trailblazer) tournaments on-site, as well as three rounds of the asymmetric-goal Battlegame, Flux, around the classes!
Feast will be provided on Saturday by our own Ali White (aka Psylocyte), and we're fortunate enough to host the Knighting of Pandora Moonfall, who is being inducted into the Order of the Flame for her excellent and unending service to our Kingdom during Kingdom Court immediately afterwards!
With that in mind, if any of that appeals to you, it's likely to be WELL worth your while to be in Peterborough on the weekend of June 13th and 14th!
We're also paying for camping at Beavermead Campground, which is a conveniently-located public campground located a five-minute drive away down Ashburnham Street.
Because it is a public campground, it does have rules about noise levels and when fires have to be out, but not having a place to stay doesn't mean that you can't make the event, as long as you have even a small tent!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Site Fee: $40 if paid on-site, $35 if paid in advance by etransfer to [email protected] BEFORE Saturday, June 6th, 2026.
For those driving at least one other player to the event, the same $5.00 discount applies on the day of, so if you're driving someone up, you don't need to pay in advance to get the discount!
I'll post up a questionnaire in the Discussion section in a day or three for attendees to fill out, allowing everyone to reserve a spot in their preferred class(es), as well as registering any food sensitivities, whether you hope to camp at Beavermead or not, and what tournament(s) or battlegames one hopes to participate in!

Schedule:
Saturday, June 13th, 2026:
10 am: Site and troll opens, and weapons checks will be done as players arrive.
Classes consist of both introductory and advanced classes that run at the same time between noon and 5 pm on the following timeline by Path (in alphabetical order by path name):
Battle: Class 1 from 12 - 1 pm, Class 2 from 1 - 2 pm.
Crown: Class 1 from 12 - 1 pm, Class 2 from 2 - 3 pm.
Flame: Class 1 from 1 - 2 pm, Class 2 from 4 - 5 pm.
Serpent: Class 1 from 2 - 3 pm, Class 2 from 3 - 4 pm.
Warrior: Class 1 from 3 - 4 pm, Class 2 from 4 - 5 pm.
5 - 7 PM: Open coaching happens between 5 and 7 pm, meaning that if you had to miss a class as a result of a timing conflict, this is your chance to approach the teacher of that class and ask them if they'd be willing to cover that with you (and anyone else who was interested)!
Alternatively, if you're looking for some one-on-one training, that's another option for this kind of timeframe.
7 - 8 PM: Feast (included with your site fee) is served, and Court will happen at the discretion of Kingdom officers present during this hour! On top of that, this is when Pandora's second Knighting will occur!
8 - 9 PM: Post-feast and Court hangouts, everyone off site by 9 pm!
Sunday, June 14th:
10 AM - 12 PM: Site opens.
Please note that weapons check for fighting tournament/battlegames for the day and entries for Dragonmaster are to be dropped off under the pavilion by 11:45 AM at the latest, so that we can have the WTNB and Archery tournaments run on time!
12 - 2 PM: Dragonmaster and Kingdom Archery and WTNB fighting tournaments
2 - 4 PM: Open Coaching time (as on Saturday, but note below)
3 - 6 PM: 3 rounds of Flux to be run with breaks between them.
6 - 7 PM: Closing address and results of fighting tournament, Dragonmaster, and Flux announced (along with MVPs and honourable mentions for each team), with warm farewells, as the site closes at 7 pm!
