FIU Music Festival 2025: Echoes of Spain, Noelia Cotuna

Join harpist, Noelia Cotuna, for Echoes of Spain, a colorful program celebrating Spanish and Spanish-inspired music. From the elegance of Mateo Albéniz’s Sonata en Re mayor to the fiery spirit of Albéniz’s Leyenda (Asturias), this recital highlights regional styles from the Basque Country to Andalusia.

The program includes works by Guridi, Debussy, de Falla, Rodrigo, and others—blending classical tradition with vibrant folkloric rhythms. Featuring Rodrigo’s Impromptu for Harp, a personal tribute to the performer’s hometown of Sagunto, the recital closes with a surprise Spanish encore.
