FIU Latin Jazz concert

The FIU Latin Jazz Ensemble ignites the stage with rhythmically charged performances that celebrate the vibrant fusion of Afro-Caribbean, South American, and North American jazz traditions. Under the direction of Dr. Michael Eckroth, the ensemble explores the works of influential Latin jazz composers and presents original arrangements that highlight the richness and diversity of Latin music. Audiences can expect driving percussion, spirited improvisation, and infectious energy from some of FIU’s finest young musicians.
