Mt longonot and Ol Karia Geothermal Hot spa health and fitness edition. TRIP ITENERARY : 6:00 am sharp depart from Kastemil Business Centre. We will have a brief stopover at the east escarpment - rift valley viewpoint. The drive will take us through to the floor of the rift valley where Mt longonot is located. Mount Longonot is a stratovolcano located southeast of lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley, Africa. It is believed to have last erupted in the 1860s. Its name is derived from the maasai word Oloonong’ot, Translating to“mountain of many spurs” or “steep ridges”. Excellent for hiking and fitness. We will hike to the top and back then before noon hours proceed to OlKaria geothermal spa to refresh in the hot volcanic spa waters to sooth the muscles from the hike. Lunch at the shores of Lake Naivasha for savoury fish and ugali.
