This dog training workshop is geared toward any dog and/or handler that is new to canine fitness. In this workshop, we will cover the basic skills needed as a foundation for fitness skills. We will discuss appropriate equipment and how to select the equipment needed for fitness for your dog. We will also cover how to do your baseline assessments to be able to see where your dog is along their fitness journey. Lastly we will discuss how to incorporate fitness training into your everyday life and what a fitness routine will look like.Prerequisite Skills: General ability to be lured and follow a treat, understanding of sit and down
Age: Any dog 6 months or older

Location: Crossbones Dog Academy in Providence, RI
Crossbones Dog Academy is an 8,000 square foot dog training, daycare, & retail facility located right off I-95 in Providence, RI. Our training hall is 45×75′ with Great Mats interlocking agility flooring. Our facility is climate controlled with ample off-street parking. Indoor crating space is available for quiet working dogs in a space adjacent to the training hall, or you may work out of your car. Chairs will be provided.
Crossbones is less than 20 minutes from TF Green Airport and approximately an hour from Logan Airport in Boston.
