Join us for a special gathering to celebrate the angel's return to Forest Home Cemetery & ArboretumSix years since an attempted theft removed the angel from the Fitch family plot, the angel returns! You are invited to a special ceremony celebrating the installation of the Angel of Peace statue by German artist, Martin Schauss.
Learn about the legacy of the Fitch family and the provenance of the angel from Forest Home Cemetery & Arboretum's foremost sculpture authority, Brian Fette.
Conservation of the angel was made possible by Fitch family members who generously supported the repair and return of the sculpture through donations to the Forest Home Historic Preservation Association.
