Hampstead Heath is an ancient heath in London, spanning 320 hectares. This grassy public space sits astride a sandy ridge, one of the highest points in London, running from Hampstead to Highgate, which rests on a band of London Clay

• Golders Green station - Turn right when you exit the station. The meeting point is outside the cafe.

First with A community trek event where we get to mingle with the community and get connected with FITBANKER coaches & trek leaders.

This will be a scenic walk starting at Golders Green station. We will walk up to Golders Hill Park, making our way through Hampstead Heath & Hampstead Heath extension. You will get to enjoy the scenic autumn colors.

About this event

• Distance: approx 10 Km
• Intensity: Easy to moderate, Aimed for all ages, this walk is about fun and meeting the rest of the FITBANKER Family
• Starting at Golders Green Station (on the Northern line ) and finishing at Golders Hill Park (North end road gate )
• The Meeting time is 9:15 am at Golders Green station. Expected completion 3:00 pm
• Please make sure everyone REGISTERS for this event, once register you will be sent a Whatsapp link to join the trek-specific group where you will be given more information.

ITINERARY

• 9:15 am - Meet at Golders Green station
• 9:30 am – Start the walk
• 3:00 pm Approx - Finish at Golder's Hill Park ( North end road)

NOTES

• Parking on North End Road is free on Saturdays
• Wear good comfortable footwear (no open shoes)
• Bring waterproofs (as required) and your own drinks, lunch, and snacks.

Who can do FITBANKER Treks?

Anyone! The age range on our treks is from 4 months to 73 years old - we are committed to bringing communities together, creating new socializing norms, new quality 'family time', having individuals experience new adventures, enjoy nature, and connect with like-minded leaders. All fitness levels are welcome, especially if you have never done a trek before - we would love to meet you and have you discover your limitless Self! Of course, pets are welcome too.
