Fit Fab & Finance Wellness Expo PART 1

WED-INC’s event includes professionals, presentations and activities in all three

Fitness, Fabulousness & Finance. The extraordinary event will kick-off at 8 am

with Zumba on the stage of the beautiful King-Lincoln Park, nestled in the very

base of Newport News, overlooking the James River at 600 Jefferson Avenue. This

high energy class will make participants “get up and move their bodies” and it is

designed to educate participants in the importance of exercise for good health. At 9

am the 5k Run/Walk begins, also in the park as participants take several trips

around the circumference of the park for the 3 mile journey! Upon completion,

participants will receive a medal. Sponsors and vendors will be on site with health

and beauty supplies as well as non-profits with information for assistance in

achieving health, wealth and wellness goals. A unique portion of the program is a

low calorie food tasting contest, with a $100 prize to the best recipe. Judges will

be selected to sample and chose the winning recipe. Music will fill the air as

participants will have until 1:30 pm to speak & purchase from vendors.
