Fisherman's Lake Parkway Cleanup with RD 1000, 7/11/26
Please join us for this cleanup at a brand new location with RD 1000, along the shoreline of Fisherman's Lake in Natomas. We will meet at the entrance to Fisherman's Lake Parkway located at 4250 Del Paso Road, Sacramento (this is not far from the Westlake Subdivision).
Due to logistics, this event is scheduled to last 3 1/2 hours, but you are free to leave any time you would like.
The event will range in difficulty from easy to hard and is suitable for children 14 years and older as long as they are closely supervised by an adult. The trail could be wet and slippery. High boots, long pants, long shirts, gloves, sunscreen and sunhats are highly recommended.
RCWA will provide bags, but please bring along your sturdy footwear, grabbers, buckets, and gloves - a limited number of loaner buckets and grabbers may be available.
As with all events shared on our Page, participation is performed solely at your own risk. Please place safety FIRST and do only what you feel comfortable doing. Moreover, participants will be required to sign a Release and Waiver form if they have not done so previously.
Overall, be safe, have fun and get some “Exercise with a Purpose”!, as Bill Templin says. Thank you! 💚
