Fish Market Monologues Presents: A Feast for Celtic Sea Kings

An immersive evening celebrating the legendary Celtic Sea Kings arrives at the Fulton Fish Market Cooperative, one of New York City’s most storied working institutions, with Chef Brian Duffy serving as culinary lead and co-host for the night.

Part of the Fish Market Monologues series, the event invites guests onto the market’s active selling floor inside its iconic 400,000-square-foot refrigerated facility in the Bronx. Designed to spotlight the global maritime cultures represented within the market, the series blends exceptional seafood, live music, historical storytelling, and communal feasting, opening the doors of this behind-the-scenes institution through curated, legacy-driven experiences.

Timed to March and the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, this Celtic-inspired edition will showcase some of the freshest seafood in New York City. The Fulton Fish Market Cooperative team, market vendors, and Chef Duffy will present a seafood-forward feast paired with beer and whiskey cocktails, set against the backdrop of one of the city’s most extraordinary culinary spaces.

The evening is co-hosted by culinary historian and writer Justin Fornal, whose storytelling connects each course to centuries of maritime trade, tradition, and ritual.

General Admission – $245 per person: Includes communal long-table seating on the market floor, a seafood cocktail hour followed by Chef Brian Duffy’s dinner and dessert, along with beer and a featured whiskey cocktail.

Kings Table – $2,400 for a Table of 8: Includes a reserved table for eight guests and an elevated dining experience featuring a seafood cocktail hour followed by a mountainous lobster and seafood boil prepared as part of Chef Brian Duffy’s dinner, served with traditional sides and dessert. Beer and whiskey cocktails are included throughout the evening.
