Scouts will work under the supervision of their unit leaders and volunteers from the Certified Angler Instructor (CAI) program to build and place fish habitats made from repurposed Christmas trees. Those habitats will be used later in the year to attract fish the scouts can come back and catch! Participating scouts will earn conservation service hours. No pre-registration is necessary, but participating units should provide CAST Lead Hilary Thornton an estimated headcount.
