FISH ARE TEACHERS ARTIST SERIES AT OKO FARMS
About this Event
FISH ARE TEACHERS is a six-week artist residency and public event series presented by Oko Farms, NYC’s only publicly accessible aquaponics farm, with support from Aerthship.
Hosted at our new rooftop aquaponics farm at Honey’s, the series brings together six visionary artists for immersive, site-specific experiences that explore the intersections of art, ecology, food, and community.
Each event offers a unique experience featuring talks, dance, live music, installations, exhibitions, workshops, readings, communal meals, and interdisciplinary performances.
Join us for a season of creativity, ecological imagination, and shared learning. Together, we'll explore themes central to Oko Farms' philosophy, including Water Is Life, Environmental Stewardship, Urban Ecology & Design, Fish Are Teachers, and Food Is Medicine.
Come experience what happens when art and ecology meet!
