Fiscal and Administrative Preparedness Workshop

This event will give attendees the opportunity:

• To discuss fiscal, administrative plans and policies put in place during a public health emergency declaration to remove barriers that can prevent the timely occurrence of response activities.
• Identify best practices and challenges during the COVID-19 Pandemic to ensure essential functions such as payment efficiency and funding accountability are streamlined.
• Determine what is needed to be prepared for a public health emergency declaration in order for procurement and surge hiring to be streamlined.

By the end of this workshop participants will have a better understanding of fiscal and administrative preparedness plans, insight to best practices, and knowledge of state policies during a public health emergency.
