Juan De La Cruz is a published writer, essayist, spoken word artist, poet and social justice activist. He is native to Tulsa Oklahoma and grew up witnessing social injustices, wishing to make a difference one day; so now he uses his powerful voice to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. His writings speak to the depth of the human experience fueled by his study of philosophy, as well as his love for his family and community. His poem 'Thunder and the Sea' has been published in the July issue 2025 of Emerge magazine. "Loud World" will be in the upcoming September 2026 issue of Emerge magazine. You can find many of his works in ‘What We Call Home’ an anthology focused on the difficulties of building a home; published by Horns and Rattles Press.
