Laurence Foshee (any pronouns) is a genderfluid, Tulsa-born poet and creative nonfiction writer with work in Apple in the Dark, The Drabble, Dragon Poet Review, eMerge Magazine, The Tulsa Review, Trilobite, and elsewhere.In 2022, they won the Scissortail Creative Writing Festival's undergraduate competition, representing Northeastern State University, with their essay "In A Zoso Nostos," about their work in Tulsa hospitals as a patient transporter throughout the COVID pandemic.
Upon completion of their General Studies degree, they hope to pursue a Master's in Counseling with a focus on creative writing and literature as therapeutic aids.
