Join Brady Dunaway, Heritage Program Ecologist, for this lecture focused on the clever act of mimicry employed by so many of our little insect friends!
There are innumerable defenses utilized by arthropods to avoid detection, escape predation, and ambush prey. Of these, mimicry is especially fun to observe and identify.
We will look at examples of insects using physical, chemical, and behavioral mimicry to pull the wool over other species’ eyes!”
