Come hang out on a weekend afternoon for a casual, no-pressure workshop where we’ll pull back the curtain on what it actually looks like to buy a home in this economy and what you need to know.

• Jon’s Real-Life Journey: Jon will share exactly how he went from barely getting approved for what might as well be a dog house to closing on his first home in 2025. We’ll talk about the actual numbers, the hurdles, and how he made it happen.
• The "Life of a Transaction": The whole house-buying timeline, from the gathering of your team and the house hunt, through the transaction, to getting your keys and beyond.
• Mythbusting: "When's the best time to buy?", "I have student loans, I can't buy a house", "I doubt I could ever save 20% for a down payment" We will pick apart these common myths and discuss the truth within them and the myths.
• Translating "Bank-Speak": Real estate is full of weird terms and acronyms. We’ll explain what things like DTI, PMI, and Seller Concessions actually mean in plain English.
• Questions & Answers: Feel free to stay as long as you like after the hour for questions and answers!

Since I'm also a coffee roaster, I'll be bringing some of the good stuff. We’ll have hot, freshly roasted coffee ready for you to enjoy while we chat. Plus, I’ll have jars of my freshly roasted beans for everyone to take home.
