Escape into art with a new experience every month! Cash bar, nibbles, and more!Harrison’s House of Styles has been an iconic barbershop in downtown Hartford for nearly two decades. See owner Harrison Lopez and his skilled barbers compete in a live Barber Battle inspired by our "Styling Identities: Hair’s Tangled Histories" exhibition. Volunteer for a chance to get your hair styled during the competition. Listen to live music with Lorena Garay & Surcari and have some light fare from BMUSE Café. Then go Ask about Art in "Styling Identities" from 5:30-7pm. Stay for a screening of "Hair" in the theater at 7pm and re-experience the tumultuous 1960s fueled by the revolutionary music of the time.
All ages are welcome! Free admission, registration encouraged.
