First State Flippers Presents - Event #5 of the DE Tour Championship 2021

When: 10/16/21

Where: 1112 E. Nutmeg Pl., Middletown, DE 19709

Time: 10AM SHARP START TIME (practice from 9:00am to 9:45am)

Cost: $40 ($29 will go to the prize fund/trophies/expenses, $1 to the IFPA, $5 to the Delaware Tour Championship Prize Fund, and the remaining $5 will go towards expenses, pizza, and refreshments). Must be paid in full using Paypal's Friends & Family. Send all payments to [email protected]

Players: Capped at 44 players

Registration: All registration is handled through Eventbrite. Tickets go on sale 9/26 at 8:00pm est. When registering on Eventbrite you are allowed to buy up to 3 tickets at once. When signing up for the waitlist, you can only sign up one person at a time. This will be IFPA SANCTIONED!

FORMAT: 7 rounds of 4-player match play qualifying. Top 12 make "A" finals. Places 13th through 24th make the "B" consolation finals. Everyone else will go to the "C" consolation finals EXCEPT players ranked 1-800. Tour Championship points will also be awarded!

FINALS FORMAT: "A" division will play a modified PAPA format with top 2 from each group advancing. Top 4 players receive a first round bye. "B" and "C" finals will both be a 2-strike group knockout format.

YEAR END DELAWARE TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP DETAILS: This will be updated based on new CDC guidelines.

Exact format for the Tour Finals is still be determined, but will be one of the 2 formats we have run in the past which will either be Head to Head best of 7 match ups if COVID guidelines are in effect in December or we will follow the old Stern Pro Circuit finals where we will have groups of 4 play 4 games with top 2 advancing until we get down to 10-12 players and then move to the Ladder finals (we will only do this format if we are allowed to have more people gather in public places. ****NOTE - There are 2 stipulations required to qualify for the Tour Championship. First, you must attend at least 2 tour events. Second, you need to finish in the top 40 after all 6 events are complete.

8/11/2021 UPDATE - Currently we will be taking 40 people to the Year End Finals.

Finally, based on current projections, we should have over $4000 to hand out at the Delaware Tour Championship Finals!!!!!

1st Place “A” - $400 plus trophy

2nd Place “A” - $200 plus medal

3rd Place “A” - $100 plus medal

4th Place “A” - $75 plus medal

5th Place “A” - $60

6th Place “A” - $50

7th Place “A” - $40

8th Place “A” - $30

1st Place “B” - $1001st Place “C” - $75

* Tour Championship points that will be awarded at each event.

1st = 100 points

2nd = 80 points

3rd = 75 points

4th = 70 points

5th = 65 points

6th = 60 points

7th = 55 points

8th = 50 points

9th = 20 points

10th = 20 points

11th = 20 points

12th = 20 points

13th = 15 points

14th = 14 points

15th = 13 points

16th = 12 points

21st through 44th = 5 points for each place

NOTE - Standings for 13th through 44th are LOCKED IN when qualifying ends. The consolation "B" finals and consolation "C" finals will have no effect on overall standings for Tour Championship points. Additionally, anyone ranked between #1 and #800 will NOT be eligible for the "C" consolation finals.
