Join us for our monthly bird walk on the first Saturday of each month to the Yahi Trail. Join us for a stroll along Big Chico Creek in the beautiful riparian habitat in Upper Bidwell Park. Beginners are welcome on this trip where we should see all of the local riparian and oak woodland species such as woodpeckers, oak titmice, sparrows, wrens, ruby-crowned kinglets, and yellow-rumped warblers. Meet at Horseshoe Lake parking lot “E” at 8:00 a.m. Heavy rain cancels. The trail can be muddy in places, so hiking shoes are recommended this time of year.
