About this Event
Canadian First Responder Mental Health Awareness Week Symposium
Hosted by Hamilton Police Service
Hamilton Police Service invites members of the first responder community to join us for the first-ever Canadian First Responder Mental Health Awareness Week Symposium.
This full-day symposium is dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of those who serve our communities every day, including Police, Fire, Paramedics, and Public Safety Telecommunicators.
Taking place during Canadian First Responder Mental Health Awareness Week, this landmark event will bring first responders together for a day of education, awareness, reflection, and connection.
Through experienced and impactful speakers, attendees will explore the unique mental and emotional challenges faced by first responders and gain valuable insights, practical tools, and strategies to support resilience, wellness, and proactive mental health.
The symposium will also provide an opportunity to connect with colleagues from across emergency services in a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment.
