First Responder Mental Health and Wellness Summit with Christy Warren

Join us for an evening with Christy Warren, author of Flash Point: A Firefighter's Journey Through PTSD on Thursday April 24th at 6:30pm at AB-Tech in Asheville. Christy will share her experiences as a paramedic, firefighter, fire chief, and her remarkable path in recovering from PTSD.  Malaprops Bookstore will be at the event, providing an opportunity to purchase signed copies of the book and conversation with Christy.  This evening gathering is open to first responders (retired and current) and their families, and also for the general public. Tickets are $10 for those who are NOT first responders and are available at www.heartofhorsesense.org.  There will be no charge for first responders or their families.

There will be other first responders and service providers during the entire event, connecting with attendees in bringing more awareness of why it’s vital to recognize and support law enforcement officers, firefighters, 911 call center dispatchers, emergency medical services – EMTs and paramedics, search and rescue members, and more.
