FIRST PEÑA LATINA - FUNDRAISER

Join us for the first (of many) Peña Latina! and
A night of storytelling, poetry, music, and wine. Just like the bards like it.
This first peña will be at Leith Depot (138 Leith Walk), July 16th at 7:30 pm.
All net profits of this first night will go to Shahed Yousef, a Palestinian student dreaming of paying for university.
Plus, this will be the official Bandcamp release of the single "The Wings" by Tere Bertucci (organiser and performer). All purchases of the single on the night will go to Shahed as well.

And we will be selling copies of Sondos Al-Saqqa's poetry book "Aerie Tales (these profits are for Sondos and her family).
If you want a magical, warm night where beauty and care are at the centre, please join us!

Sliding scale for tickets. Tickets will also be available at the door but there is limited space!

The venue is accessible by wheelchair, however, there is a small step to get in and people might need some assistance with the door (which we will provide!).
Finally, we will leave space for an Open mic at the end! Priority will be given to BIPOC performers, if you would like to perform your poetry, music, storytelling, dancing, etc! Please write to [email protected] with the subject "open mic".
