1. Event description
On a Saturday evening in June, the world's newest gay men's chorus takes the stage for the first time. The chorus will present an eclectic selection of custom arrangements of familiar pop songs rehearsed since their inception in October 2025. This three-part vocal group will charm you with resonant vocal harmony in the heritage-listed, North Perth Town Hall.

2. What to expect
An intimate venue with a warm atmosphere

3. The program
The evening features a medley of familiar pop songs. Choral canons are performed as musical interludes throughout the evening.
Running time is approximately 40 minutes with no interval.
Doors open 7pm, performance starts 7.30pm.
4. About PGMC
Perth Gay Men's Chorus is the world's newest gay men's chorus, unauditioned, inclusive, and serious about the craft. Founded in October 2025 by Joshua James Webb Musical Director, PGMC performs three-part choral arrangements of music people love, and believes that excellence and inclusion are not in tension.
Gay men and allies with a tenor, baritone or bass voice are warmly welcome to register for this term.

Is this event suitable for all ages? Yes. First Outing is a welcoming event open to everyone. Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Is the venue accessible? North Perth Town Hall is accessible. Please contact us at [email protected] if you have specific accessibility requirements and we will do our best to assist.
Can I pay at the door? We strongly recommend booking online to secure your spot.
How do I prove concession? A valid concession card (student, pension, or healthcare card) is required at the door. Please have it ready for our volunteers to check on entry.
What if I arrive late? The chorus will enter the room singing, so we want the whole audience inside and settled before the music starts. However if you arrive late, please wait for a break in proceedings to enter. One of our volunteers will help you navigate entry.
