The Texas Armwrestling League is proud to announce the first-ever Official TAL Referee Seminar & Certification Training, marking a major milestone in the continued growth and professionalism of Armwrestling officiating in Texas.
This program is sanctioned by the American Unified Armwrestling (AUA) and is part of the organization's commitment to creating a unified, trained, and consistent referee system across the sport. Under the leadership and vision of AUA with oversight from International Master Referee Sean "Boom" Hancock, this seminar represents the first step in building a standardized certification pathway for officials that can serve athletes, promoters, and organizations at the highest level.
Whether you're an athlete, promoter, current referee, or passionate fan, this seminar offers an opportunity to deepen your understanding of the sport while helping shape the future of Armwrestling officiating. Those pursuing certification will have the opportunity to earn AUA/TAL Referee Certification up to Level 2, focusing on rule knowledge, referee mechanics, positioning, communication, match management, and consistent rule enforcement.
