First Night Boston has been a New Year’s Eve celebration of artistic performances and the beginning of a new year. In keeping with this fantastic Boston tradition, the First Night celebration will open 2025 with an array of performances at CanalSide Food + Drink on on Tuesday, December 31 from 12pm to 4:30pm.
Events include traditional Chinese folk dances choreographed by the Chu Ling Dance Academy from noon to 1:15pm, and the Puppet Showplace Theater and CactusHead Puppets presenting excerpts from the "Magnificent Monster Circus” with shows at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.
