About this Event

The First Nations Cultural Landscape Tour is an award-winning, place-based, walking tour that welcomes guests to learn about the First Nations of Wisconsin.

On this tour, participants will visit UW-Madison campus buildings, historical markers, and archaeological sites to discuss historic — and contemporary — relationships with First Nations and the area known as Teejop (Four Lakes) and Madison.

The tour begins at the Memorial Union Information Desk and is not a loop.

The tour is weather-dependent and may be modified or canceled due to weather. Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.

Registration is required.

The First Nations Cultural Landscape Tour program is supported by the Office of the Provost in partnership with Campus and Visitor Relations.
