🌙 FIRST MOON CIRCLE | BERGVLIET, CAPE TOWN 🌸
Do you have a child aged 9–12 who is approaching their first period?
Would you love to talk to them about menstruation and growing up, but aren't quite sure where to begin? Or perhaps you've started having those conversations and would like to explore the subject together in a joyful, supportive space?
Imagine a generation of children growing up without the shame, embarrassment and misinformation so many of us inherited about our bodies and periods.
Imagine them understanding their changing bodies, feeling confident asking questions, and knowing that menstruation is a normal, healthy part of life.
That's what First Moon Circles are all about!
Through stories, conversations, creativity and a little celebration, we explore the menstrual cycle, puberty and the arrival of a first period in an age-appropriate, warm and welcoming way.
It's three hours of learning, laughter and connection, including a special celebration with parents and caregivers.
Because our children deserve to grow up with better stories about their bodies than many of us were given.
Let's start a menstrual revolution! 🌸
