Rural Ohio needs more welcoming and inclusive spaces and we are trying to create just that. First Mondays with Pride. Space for the LGBTQ+ and their allies🌈🏳️⚧️❤️🩹
Every first Monday of the month we are going to meet from 5-6:30pm. Each meeting will be a different activity but you do not have to participate to come and enjoy a space with like minded and safe folks or even just to donate or sign the petitions. All activities will be family friendly and snacks and drinks will always be provided. If you'd like to bring a dish or snack, please feel free to do so.
At our next First Monday, on June 1st we will be making patches and bracelets to hand out during our Pride festival! Come on out to the Peebles Library and meet some new folks and have some good conversation.💕
Every activity and event we have, we will be collecting signatures for the Ohio Equal Rights Amendment and the Ohio Right to Marry petitions and we will be accepting donations for Appalachian Edge Free Market.
Our activities will include game and trivia nights, group hikes, cookouts, painting and crafting, projector movie nights, bonfires and more! LGBTQ+ and Allies support group is coming soon.
