First Monday - Barnabas Birmacher (Bitrise)

At our next First Monday we will welcome Barnabás Birmacher, Co-Founder & CEO of Bitrise, one of the most successful tech companies ever started from Hungary, serving more than half of the world's mobile unicorns with its worldclass CD/CI service and DevOps platform

The company was founded by Barnabás, Dániel Balla and Viktor Benei back in 2014, after trying to solve their own problem with manual and time consuming mobile app deployment. To this date, Bitrise has been the only company from Hungary that went through Y Combinator. They recently raised $60 million in Series C funding, led by Insight Partners, with participation from existing investors, including Partech, OpenOcean, Zobito, Fiedler Capital and Y Combinator In 2021, Bitrise transitioned towards a talent first remote approach so currently it has team members across continents: besides the Hungarian HQ, in the US, UK, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and Japan for example and over 6k mobile-driven clients. It also managed to double its revenue year over year and plans to increase its employees to 300+ this year.
