Inspired by the nationwide First Day Hikes initiative led by America’s State Parks, Camp Takimina is excited to host our second annual First Hike on January 1, 2025! While not directly associated with the state park events, we're embracing the spirit of this wonderful tradition to encourage our community to get outdoors and start the New Year on the right foot.
Bring your family and friends to enjoy a guided hike through the beautiful trails of Camp Takimina. A few of our knowledgeable board members will be available to lead the way, ensuring a fun and safe experience for all ages, but you’re also welcome to explore the various trails on your own. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just looking for a refreshing way to kick off 2025, this event is perfect for everyone.
Admission is free, but donations are accepted and greatly appreciated. All donations will go toward our fundraising campaign for our future flushing bath house.
